The latest patches and bug fixes for both the Gnome Password and
Encryption Keyring Manager and Evolution as part of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
updates have resolved this long standing bug report. Issues were
identified and fixed in the send/receive password exchange between
Evolution and the Password and

I am also on amd64 and am experiencing these results as well. I intend
to reduce my send/receive interval in an attempt to reduce the frequency
of the evolution crashes. I will also attempt to collect the backtrace
upon the next evolution crash by following the instructions above.
