Micah, if you click the icon, it gives you the option to View Main
Window which seems to work for me. Am I missing what you are getting
at?

Notification area icon for GTG does not hide or display main window
This is not a bug. GTG 0.2.3 uses libindicate for the notification area
icon if you have it installed (which is the case of Lucid). Libindicate
is the very same library the me menu, the sound applet, etc.. use. It
have several advantages over the old method, but it doesn't support the
right
