I have this same problem of basket not decrypting any baskets encrypted with its prior version. Unfortunately, installing version 1.0.3 seems not to be an option. I'm on Kubuntu 14.04 which does not contain the kdelibs4c2a and kdelibs4c2a libraries - but the Karmic package requires these
