I guess we could close this bug then. Thanks for the bug report feel free to
report any other bugs you may find.
Marking invalid as if it was marked fixed and someone else faced this again
then the retracer would mark that bug as a regression and link that to this bug

Now, I could reproduce the error. See duplicate bug.
Starting gwibber from menu oder terminal works fine, but not from the
panel.

I had the same problem and after I ran aptitude it appeared to be
installing various stuff that should have been installed with the
previous update but failed. Now gwibber works fine no matter how I start
it.
