No, problem does not occur any more - I have done 3 installations of
10.04 laptops in the meantime switching off and back on WLAN again
tested at least at 2 of them.

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from

OK, I can reproduce by switching off WLAN and back on again.
That is also mentioned by someone in bug #440385
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/440385).
And what I also notice that the address I get (added automatically to
summary/subject) varies each time.
