Yessir, that's exactly what I mean. Drag-and-drop for Facebook contacts
won't work on empathy. I confirm that they do for Gtalk (as well as MSN).
I was also talking about a workaround for this situation: whenever I want to
change a facebook contact's group on empathy I access www.facebook.com

Thanks for taking time to report this bug and helping to make ubuntu better. I
talked on the empathy IRC support channel and got
the facebook XMPP service doesn't allow that afaik so closing this bug as
wontfix.

but I do can move them around groups through click-and-drag. Still a
no-fix?

What does this mean. Do you mean that you cannot drag a facebook contact
and drop it to another group. Seem to work for gtalk, did not try
facebook.
