I have the same block of error messages as Rumen when trying to invoke
gwibber from the command line. Tweaking /etc/hosts as suggested by Omer
did not fix my problem.
I didn't have gwibber before upgrading from 8.04 to 10.04. At first I
thought I would uninstall the package and reinstall, but
Comment#1 is bug 544753 and comment#2 is bug 522538
Don could you please start gwibber from terminal and see what error you get :)
