I am running Xubuntu Edgy Eft Knot 2, presently. There seem to be no
problems with the system. Therefore, I conclude that the bug must have
been fixed.

I don't have a digital camera. However, I did complete a memory test,
just to make sure that was OK. Are there any config files, you want to
see?

If you have a digital camera, please attach a photo of the failed boot
sequence when you choose the recovery option.
