Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tomboy
1) ser...@dell:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release: 10.04 ser...@dell:~$ uname -a Linux dell 2.6.32-22-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 3 22:02:19 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux 2) ser...@dell:~$ apt-cache policy tomboy tomboy: Installed: 1.2.1-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.2.1-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 1.2.1-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fo.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.2.0-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fo.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 3-4) I expect my notes always synchronized. It works sometimes, sometimes not. Am I supposed to *explicitly* connect/login to my U1 account after every reboot? Even if I do it explicitly, the Web sync in Tomboy preferences remains gray (unselectable), I need to "Clear", add my computer for another time, select Web sync, then it works. The "cloud" icon on my panel *always* remains gray and crossed. Shouldn't it indicate whether I am connected/disconnected to U1? (You may notice that some of my computers on my U1 account are listed several times). This service remains not trustworthy for a long time already. ** Affects: tomboy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tomboy synchronizes sporadically & erratically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/599787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
