I am unable to accept the EULA. I have tried various methods. This
does go a bit over my head, but I am fairly certain that my system does
not lock. I have three hours of up time after closing the EULA and no
other problems. This only occurred after I shut down and restarted.

able to install my programs.; sudo apt get-remove apt get-update
apt get-upgrade; apt-get --configure -a; i have installed aptdaemon

The bug occured but the program had been installed succesfully. The
problem was that in software center there still was an Install button.
So I was unable to neitehr get rid of it or install it properly.
Software Center didn't work as it should so I tried to open Synaptic.

Try this(from some one in one of earlier posts)
Sudo apt get remove
Sudo apt get update
Then
Sudo apt get upgrade
Then try to install again
This solved for me :)

What worked for me was:
dpkg -C
This will tell you which packages are borked. Remove those packages,
update, then install.

Thanks for all of your quick replies and answers to this possible
bug.I think that it's fixed.(All packages respond properly,and
Apt-Daemon installs them with no problems now.) At a
Ubuntu-workshop,we went into Grub,then to edit,by entering 'e'.Did a
recovery/reinstall.All problems seem to have

Sorry to be dense, but I'm confused by the comments versus status on
