Buongiorno. Ho installato Ubuntu 10.4 su un Toshiba Satellite A80. Ho provato
diverse versioni di hplip (l'ultima da me installata è la 3.10.6) ma quando
cerco di mandare un fax direttamente da computer, o tramite hp-toolbox
cliccando su send fax, su add e scegliendo un file prima creato in formato .ps,
oppure scegliendo la coda di stampa fax da Open Office (file - stampa -
HP_Laserjet_3055_fax), mi compare, dopo un certo numero di invii, il seguente
messaggio di errore (avviando il programma da terminale):
"ERROR:dbus.connection:Unable to set arguments
('hpfax:/net/HP_LaserJet_3055?ip=192.168.1.4', 'andrea', None) according to
signature None: <type 'exceptions.TypeError'>: Don't know how which D-Bus type
to use to encode type "NoneType"

Dopo un pò di tempo il problema si risolve da solo, poi nuovamente si
ripresenta. Preciso che uso la stampante tramite cavo LAN (prima la usavo via
Usb e mi è stato chiesto di procedere in questo modo proprio per evitare il
problema, che invece si è ripresentato) e ho creato un bridge tra l'interfaccia
di rete fisica (eth0) e una rete senza fili (eth1). La mia multifunzione è una
HP_Laserjet_3055 series. Vorrei sapere se si può evitare che il problema si
ripresenti e come. Grazie mille. Andrea Marengoni
