Thanks for reporting the bug. Have you tried to manually remove
flashplugin-non free, perform the upgrade and then install install
flashplugin-installer?

Thanks for a rapid reply!
Contrary to what the install program told me during the installation, the
installation of 10.04 was completed.
And Flash seems to work.
So do not dare to touch anything right now, as running Flash on Ubuntu
64-bit has previously been almost impossible.

Good, I am glad it works. I am going to set the status as incomplete, as
at this stage we don't have a way to replicate the bug. Feel free to
reopen it if you (or others) experience the same issue.
