Yes, the problem is that Tilda changed the config file format. The new
config files are very different from the old ones. The upgrade should
provide some automatic configuration file converter.

Seems to be a configuration file error. Please delete (backup first, if
needed) the ~/.tilda directory and try to run tilda again.
