Steps to reproduce this error:

1. Open mousepad (example below)
2. Copy any text and paste into it;
3. Save the file;
4. Click on the "X" to exit.

Each click on "X" triggers a "Gtk-CRITICAL" line. I reported a long time
ago a similar bug here in Launchpad.
