Sadly it has failed again, i wonder if this problem is only about this
bug report (689181):
- because i can attach the request screenshot: bug report 705404
- this problem have happened AFTER this report has been declared as
'incomplete, then countdown for expiration:

hi,
as i was checking my chipsets motherboard using lspci -, i get both good
and wrong returns:
- good: MB is P5WDH (asustek),
subsystem well recognised for: Firewire
- wrong: IDE/SATA
Have installed 2.6.37-999-generic_2.6.37-999.201101190911_i386, but the
command (apport-collect -p linux 689181) tell me to report on bugzilla
in lieu of here.
Anywaythe issues are still the same: see attached both dmidecodeNK
lspciNK logs

it seems that there is no way to attach kern.log anymore: have tried
twice, giving the good path and adding comments, but i can see the log
attached.

original kern.log is 823 kio and fail, so i try with a smaller one
(edited) of 429 kio

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the
latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from
