I can confirm this - I am seeing the same thing on my T61. Occasionally
the suspend fails with the blinking moon LED as described, but I have
not been able to determine a pattern as to when it fails.

I think I am seeing the same bug. It does not happen every time for me but
every now and then. I have a ThinkPad T510.
I am currently running maverick and kernel 2.6.35-25-generic-pae. I also have
the non-free nvidia module installed.
