Gnome Commander still crashes each time a connection to a remote server is attempted in Ubuntu 12.04 alpha 1, Gnome Commander version 1.2.8.14. The work around is to install libgnomevfs2-extra as per comment #8. If Gnome Commander needs this file should the dependencies not be changed to force
