Apologies for letting this languish, I now have a 11.04 amd64
(thumbdrive) system. with the 1.1-7 I am still not seeing this problem.
Have you tried 1.3-1 from the gpredict-team ppa?

Hi,
I did an update and delete the folder "~/.config/Gpredict/".
In my 64 bit system the bug still exists.
