Steps to reproduce
===============
0. Configure vlc to use left and right arrow (mine jumps backward with left,
forward with right, seeks futher back with down and forward with up)
1. Launch gnome-terminal
2. Launch vlc playing a video
3. Focus the terminal
4. Write text, try to move left and right, up and down
What happens
===========
The left and right arrows seek the video, even when the focus is on terminal.
All other keys, including up and down arrows go to the terminal properly.
What should happen
================
Left and right arrow should move the cursor in terminal.
