It is actually possible to turn off this behavior. In the Image Settings tab in the Print dialog, uncheck the box Print image title. (The fact that the titles overlap the images is a known bug; see http://trac.yorba.org/ticket/3249 .) ** Bug watch added: trac.yorba.org/ #3249

Thank you. That feature was driving me crazy. I did a Google search on this topic and it seemed to be something that you could not turn off. Unchecking it seems to persist after I exit and restart Shotwell. Now I can start to really look at the capabilities of the program to see if it's a
