Installation of Firefox 6 Has cleared up a lot of video playback issues for me.
They have all disappeared. But will note Grease Monkey script for hd video on
youtube causes issues but merely disabling grease monkey fixed it right away.

Alright Excellent suggestion. Installed through the terminal 2.75 etc
installed fine. Noticeable improvements on youtube.com and cnet.com but
cnn.com alot video tearing and flickering of the video player trim and
other noticeable improvements on comedynetwork.ca and ctv.ca
better but not
I noticed that you seem to be using the NVIDIA proprietary driver. The
newly released NVIDIA 275.19 driver may help. It supposedly contains
VDPAU presentation queue fixes causing GPU errors and hangs (this is a
bug exposed by the use of VDPAU in the Adobe Flash Player).

become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try
this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not
need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want
