Two things:
1) I have the shadow now, the issue was nautilus not managing the desktop
(unity draws the shadow on nautilus's window... yeah, that's not the best idea
ever haha)
2) On multimonitor, I can say the shadow is only drawn on the topmost monitor,
so if you have two aligned you have a
can you please check if you have 'png' plugin enabled in ccsm. The panel
shadow is not the real shadow its just an image(if you dont already
know).

settings many times, even loading the default ones).
