Since I installed Ubuntu 7.04 beta this bug has been fixed. Yay for the
new system - nice work on sorting out the codecs problems. Marking as
'Fix Released'

I wonder why you have seen this message at all. The automatic codec
install magic of totem/g-a-i should have openend a window with the right
codecs. Did that not happen for you?

The affected package has been changed back to gnome-app-install after I
set it to gstreamer0.10. So my question is: Who writes the short
descriptions of packages as we see them in gnome-app-install?
That's where this bug should be addressed.

Five minutes later, after installing GStreamer ffmpeg video plugin I
cannot reproduce this bug. Could someone else try this on a fresh
system?
