Can you please run, in a terminal:
gksu gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Then please delete the following lines at the bottom of the file and see
if the issue still occurs:
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable
deb-src http://repository.spotify.com stable
deb http://repository.spotify.com stable
