Public bug reported:

The background displayed in the greeter has a dotted grid.
Once logged in and the grid disappear since the desktop wallpaper does not have 
a grid.

Why is there a dotted grid over the desktop wallpaper?
This adds nothing of value and just contributes with inconsistency!

Either remove the dotted grid from the greeter, or add a dotted grid to
the desktop wallpaper, but remain consistent!
