This is a typical situation in most companies, hence It is a big issue if
Ubuntu One does not provide any kind of proxy support.
Ubuntu One is less usable and fast than similar service (e.g. dropbox)
and the lack of features

Yes, Roman, that's partially correct: a https proxy (443) is required like in
most company networks.
However, I think that the captcha problem does not depend on proxy support
because some Ubuntu 11.10 installations are affected , directly connected to
internet (no proxy).

Could you please clarify whether the proxy is required to be specified
for applications to be able to reach outside servers. port 443? If
that's correct, then this is what prventing the captcha from loading. We
are working on making it possible for Ubuntu One applications to use
proxies correctly.

I tried to use Ubuntu One on 10 different brand-new installations of Ubuntu
11.10 Desktop x64 in my company.
On every computer I tried to set-up a new account: captcha is not working on
every single case. It simply keeps loading not showing any
