There is now 6.13.12 in unstable. Daniel - would you volunteer to adopt it for
the PPA?
I was experimenting a bit with the runlevels. An update is likely to happen any
time soon,

could you try 6.12.34 from the official site [1] please?
you have to do chmod +x filename
./run_manager
by default it will use different config files, so you can put it into
your desktop and delete it after you gave it a try!

Tried, when i do `./run_manager` it throws:
./boincmgr: error while loading shared libraries: libnotify.so.1: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
I have all packages starting from `libnotify-` installed except for
`dev`, which i also installed - didn't help.

ok I had the same problem, i fixed it by creating a manual link in my /usr/lib
/usr/lib/libnotify.so.1 - /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnotify.so.4

6.13.10 has issues, too - just very different ones. Let's wait for
6.13.11 and then backport when this turns out to be stable.
Anybody feeling like providing a package for 6.12.34?

6.12.34 should be a great package, since it contains some bugfixes and
in oneiric I think we will wait a lot before having a stable 7.X release
(since 6.13 will be called 7.0 when will be released to public).
