upgrade them because it may break other packages. Usually this is not a

In a terminal do,
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Its not a distribution upgrade so dont worry about that. See if it installs
the requested updates and corrects the problem.

No, I was just trying to install the regular security updates. I learned to
hard way to never try to install a new version, but to install fresh from an
iso.
