I found this bug while looking for a way to resize /run/shm on Ubuntu 13.04. Still I can't find a way to resize it (on my laptop for some reason it is 600MB - out of 6GB total memory - I need it bigger to install Oracle or DB2). Net is full of advice to mount --rebind this to change it's size,

That work around is specific to configuring Oracle database to use the /run/shm instead of the older /dev/shm. That was only part of the problem. There does not seem to be anyway to change the size of /run/shm. In the older kernels you could do this by changing the SHM_MAX value in the
