Public bug reported:

Backing up locally on a eSata-Drive worked out. I copied the backups
onto my ubuntu server, and tried to backup again. Connection over ssh,
the backup-file is passwort protected. After reading in the old backups,
uploading the current backup, the whole process stops at a certain point
with the error message, that a temporary file cannot be generated.
