install from alternate CD or USB despite installing correctly from desktop

pressing Ctrl Alt F4.
- Gigabyte 1155 motherboard, crash just before network configuration. Large
number of error messages. Sample below:

immediately after inputting hostname. Again Ctrl Alt F4 information, no
