2. Open device in rhythmbox
3. Rhythmbox find 197 track and freeze with error :

In Precise : Rhythmbox hangs when an external device is connected

Note the device is accessible from within Nautilus without any issue
even while rhythmbox is hanging.
Also, it is showing in the rhythmbox interface as 12 Gb Filesystem.
