About updating GeoGebra, package installed from
http://software.opensuse.org
In my previous post, I told that GeoGebra installed after adding the repo
provided by http://software.opensuse.org failed to update using the Ubuntu
Update Manager. The reason (what I didn know) was that the
Giovanni, Ubuntu is not in quite deep freeze. Ubuntu is currently in
Debian Import Freeze, which just means that the auto-importer from
Debian is turned off. Individual packages can still be synced from
Debian.
New versions of packages (besides bugfixes) will require a Feature
Freeze Exception

But, let me point out that I have installed GeoGebra 4 from the
repository provided by software.opensuse.org (link available in my first
post). The only obstacle I found (at least for now) is that Ubuntu

Geogebra is already up-to-date in Debian. It hasn't already landed in
testing because of problems (which I'm working on) with architectures
not supported by Ubuntu, but unfortunately Ubuntu is already in quite
