@stgraber can you confirm the changes and do we have a screen and
perhaps can you refer me to which docs we will need to update and I can
get this done today.

Benjamin, as far as I know we don't have documentation for the installer
except for the (rather technical) installation guide.

From a copywriter's perspective, David's suggestion looks good. My own
preference would be to simplify the sentence slightly and use 'at times'
rather than 'in some places', i.e:
'This picture will be associated with your user name and displayed alongside it
at times.'

in places seems a little handwavy to me, but certainly better than
making false promises :)

Right, the in places is there so we can keep the exact same string
whatever the user environment and not need to update it if we do any
major rework of unity-greeter or similar pieces.
Now just waiting from a YES/NO from the translations team.
