The roor_log shows that on your system the filter
/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertosamsungspl is missing. This looks like that
something went wrong with the installation of the proprietary driver
from Dell.
This is not a bug of Ubuntu. Closing ...

Capturing print job data outputs failed:
$ sudo ls /var/spool/cups/
tmp
$ sudo ls -1 /var/spool/cups/
tmp
$ sudo ls -l /var/spool/cups/
total 4
drwxrwx--T 3 root lp 4096 2012-02-27 22:11 tmp
BUT finally here is the USB Printer output, cupps error_log attached:
lsmod | grep usb
usb_storage
Forgot to mention that it leads to the same result if I install run
chmod +x install.sh or not.
