Gnome Shell always crashes (on my Ubuntu 11.10) when I try to search anything
with the search box of the dash.
This wasn't happening before, when I installed it.
What I mean with crashes, is that suddenly all my desktop disappears
(except the wallpaper). Then,
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I have exactly same problem. Starded after gnome-shell update to version
3.2.2.1-0ubuntu0.1
Weird is that search crash is affected by some symbols. Eg. searching
syn for synaptic package manager is fine. But most of searches results
into Gnome 3 panel restart.
