Attached a patch. This is for debian directory (not a quilt patch). This patch removes the patch introduced in LP #725988, and gives another solution which creates a symlink emacs.desktop as follows: 1. Install upstream emacs.desktop file into /usr/share/emacs/@FULL_VERSION@/etc/ 2. Use the
