Just checked with fully up-to-date precise and bug persists. Steps to reproduce: 1. open gnome-terminal 2. Go to full-screen 3. type evince which opens correctly in foreground but gvim/chromium-browser/nautilus open incorrectly in background Basically gnome-based apps open correctly in
