Public bug reported: in /usr/share/doc/lightdm/examples/lightdm.conf.example there is a list of available settings you can use to control lighdm. At least one of those settings, greeter-show-guest, does not match what Lighdm actually checks (which is greeter-allow-guest) so you have to fall back to checking source to find how to disable guest account in the greeter.
