Ok, now that sounds like it might be bad hardware. Try rebooting to
memtest86+, and letting it run overnight. If it finds any memory
errors, try relaxing

Sorry but in /var/crash/ is no report from 1.4.07 and no one from k3b.
The bug happend two times, but at the moment it still runs.
I will report more when it happens next time.

I'fe test it to find out when it will crash when k3b start.
It will crash when an updater like adept synaptics (could be dpkg?) will
