Another data point: If I restart gdm after resume from suspend2mem, gdm
itself is very slow to load: It can take minutes for the login dialog to
appear, then, when I log in, it can take many minutes for my session to

I launched Dia and checked the Tools menu for the shortcut for drawing
an ellipse. It says Alt+E. But when I type that, I always get the Edit
menu dropping down instead (obviously). Also, there are not _Ellipse
underscores in the Tools menu, so I

fact correct. As far as I can tell from the subsequent bug reports, it
wasn't that it broke it completely, it merely had no obvious effect due

Seems to be an issue with ata1 in the boot process.
Fails both softreset and hardreset.
No idea about this one and I have not been able to find any log reports
specific to that kernel when I boot in a earlier kernel.

Edit the boot command during startup and remove 'quiet splash'. If you

Thanks for looking into this error.
Unfortunately the problem is still present if mini-httpd is installed
together wth twiki. To reproduce, install mini-httpd first and then
install twiki. Its of course debatable if the bug here is twiki and not
mini-httpd that divert htpasswd.

You don't use an official kernel, which means you don't use the official
builds of linux-restricted-modules either, right? Feisty has
2.6.20-12-generic now.

results.
Please try the Feisty Beta when it is released (real soon now). The
kernel has a number of lib-ata fixes that might correct your problem.
