On Feisty, we don't actually run the 'powernowd', all we do is set the
kernel's built-in scaling-governor. If I hadn't read the comment about
removing powernowd fixed the issue, I would have said this was likely
completely unrelated to powernowd. If we don't run the
'/etc/init.d/powernowd'

I just saw that in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-lvm.rules the device is tested
against ENV{ID_FS_TYPE}==lvm*|LVM* to trigger the vgchange/vgscan.

I don't have this problem anymore, i don't know if it is because of the
update, but i had to change a ling in cupsd.conf (i removed the Listen
127.0.0.1:631 line and replaced it by a Port 631 line) to make it
works.

cupsys doesnt seems to see printers available on network
after adding a 'sleep 5' after udevtrigger, I noticed that mdadm
segfaults on my machine sometimes, resulting that not all volumes start
up.Starting /scripts/local-top/mdadm from-udev manually resulted in

This would make ndisgtk uninstallable, since this depends on

Ok so this is caused by the combination of an SMP enabled kernel and the
rt61 driver which seems to be both incompatible (see the link in the
previous post).
The rt61 driver in feisty (20070322 beta) is :

We could change the build dependencies to ndiswrapper-utils-1.9. Afaik,
the command line syntax has not been changed but I will test this.
ndisgtk is currently installable but unusable when having only
ndiswrapper-utils-1.1 installed as this does not work.
