I will try to fix this in the next version. The xscreensaver package
actually ships /usr/share/xscreensaver/gnome-screensaver-
properties.desktop but it is hidden with NoDisplay=true. It's like this
in Debian because there the xscreensaver package is not split up like in

Restricted Manager. Well, I did turn on some wireless driver when I
saw some dialog message pops up, and I remembered I did went through
several steps to activate the wireless device.
I now stop the Wireless driver by System -
Leann, I tested with Gutsy not Hardy.
I would have tested with Hardy but couldn't find the live cd.

I ran into this same problem. It's going to prevent me from using
Ubuntu on servers where I don't have ready access to the console. If it
cannot boot unattended in degraded mode, that means my server is down,
even though it has an array to use.

I now tried with Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 1. there after the xserver starts,
the same happens. But this time I was able to press Ctrl+Alt+F6 and
changed in the Device section, of the xorg.conf file, the Driver of
the graphic device drive, from intel to i810. After restarting the
xserver, it worked

This happens in my mother's machine as well, using D-link DWL-G122 rev
C1 usb wireless adapter on Pentium 4. I see the (unencrypted) networks
but cannot connect. Great annoyance, since it does not play nice with

Since i was forced(Feisty Fawn - Gutsy upgrade) to use Xine as engine, Amarok
crashes with some mp3. However not all mp3 causes the crash.
Other Xine-based player(gxine, totem-xine, kaffeine-xine, xine-ui) can play
these mp3 without problems. Only Amarok always crashes.

I'm going to attempt to tidy this up and put it to bed a little better.
Please don't take this as a I don't care about konquer situation, as
thats not the key, kubuntu/konquer are key.
I would request that there is two seperate bugs launched one for working
in opera and one for konquer,
The new version is uploaded to Debian and sync has been requested. See
Bug #176726 for status on the sync.

I don't know if they above guy still has this bug, but *I* still have it
in Ubuntu Gutsy running 2.6.22-14 ... has this been fixed? It really is
a problem for VMWare as it can't do anything with serial ports on a
timely basis either.
