I am also having this problem. I just installed Ubuntustudio 8.04 and I am
having issues with the wireless as well.
I don't always get the Error message but it does come up frequently. Any
suggestions are appreciated. My issue with the wireless is that I can't set

What helps me is to boot in recovery mode. I'm asked for the passphrase in

Right click on dock and select Add a launcher. Launcher is created but it
doesnot launch the application when clicked.
Launchers work only if dragged from Main
I don't understand from the description how the problem manifests
itself. Broke my GNOME? Are you thrown back to the gdm greeter just
after logging in? Does a failsafe gnome or terminal session work? Any
errors is gdm.log? Are you using compiz?

Now right click on cairo dock, select Cairo-Dock-About
The about window either has to be closed by either pulling it down by
