version 4.1.4/intrepid (but not on kubuntu) behaves the same as

Fred, I have an acer aspire one too, the wifi works fine, Network
manager just keeps trying to connect to a wired network even if there
isnt one there. I use WICD which gives up after one attempt at the wired
and then connets to the regular wireless network. If that doesnt help,

it seems I#m having exactly the same problem on my MaxData Pro8000x.
Additionaly information: the lock (left blue led above keypad) and the lock
with a symbol in it (3rd led from left side above keypad) start flashing when I
try to resume.

After two years, the status of this was changed from Invalid to New.
If the same problem has recurred, with the same configuration, then
fresh debug information should be attached; otherwise, it will be
difficult to impossible to triage this report.

That can not be (or should not be) the source of the problem. Because I know
