I tried the kernel from bug 349314, it's not helping, as well as
2.6.28-12 kernel from jaunty-proposed. On the other hand, turning UXA
acceleration on indeed accelerates things, but it's unstable (X freezes
time after time).

worked under 8.10, but since it has been upgraded the eth0 goes down and
come up again automatically on heavy traffic (eg. I want to backup the
harddisk over the lan). On normal use (SSH, updates, web server

Public bug reported:
I upgraded to 9.04 from 8.10 last night from the update manager. After
the update/upgrade completed, I restarted the computer as instructed.
When it came to the login screen my keyboard and mouse did not respond.
I have tried restarting and using the recovery console to

I did not have this problem since I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10. Also
9.04 is running fine here.
