For fixing your disk you better ask on the forums (ubuntu forum or
gparted forum), IRC or any of the other support channels.
To know what exactly is wrong, we'd need more info about how your disk
was partioned, wether you used software raid or fakeraid, etc.

I confirm that time calculation is inaccurate relative to the actual
amount of time it takes to make the bootable disk. As well, the time is
not sequential (that is to say the estimated time varies and goes
faster/slower). This should be abstracted for the user and the time
should be properly
New packages are not handled by ubuntu-universe-sponsors. Therefore I
unsubscribe them.

The reason is the max Hz in all of the kernel and user space tools is
the max Hz while all cores are active. Turbo Boost only comes into
effect when running un-parallelized code on only a fraction of the
cores. So, I've seen my Envy 15 hit 3.0GHz in Windows, using Intel's
Turbo Boost utility,
Oh, and thanks for the patch, Alex. Do you know anything about the
fglrx issue? I haven't seen ONE post at all about people's experience
with the ATI driver on the envy.

That may very well be the case, my netbook uses(fairly obviously) Intel
graphics and the Ubuntu logo looks great. The aspect ratio is 5:3 though
so if the aspect ratio really is a factor with this bug then the fact
that my netbook displays it properly is irrelevant.
