In Ubuntu 10.10 I get both GCC v4.4 and v4.5 installed *by default*.
In /usr/bin I can see some of the components (try ls -l /usr/bin | grep
'4\.[45]' ).
Either a system tool (a script?) to make the switch in a safe way is missing or
one of the two versions (the older?)

Thanks for the info. However, PPM stands for Pulsos Por Minuto in the
Banshee translations:

So PPM has the right gender (male).

I'm attaching the results of a wget http://192.168.1.162/img/video.asf
I did try to reproduce with just ffmpeg and not using ffserver, and I
could not reproduce the issue using what I think should be the same
options that ffserver would make use of (i.e. ffmpeg -i video.asf
-vcodec mjpeg -r 4 -s
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/releasenotes?os=ubuntuver=11.04lang=${LANG}
If I try that directly, I'm redirected to the Ubuntu.com landing page...
if I remove the lang= parameter, I get release notes.
When I was doing install testing and noticed this, I was using the
Desktop isos as of 4/13.
