I'm having this zombie thingy also. But not always. Whenever this

sound working. After several reboots, sound has quit. I also have Win 7
and BackTrack 5 installed on this machine. Sound doesn't work on BT 5,
either.

I've just upgraded to Precise Pangolin Alpha 1, when I click on install button
to install a program, this goes gray for about 2-3 minutes, password in never
asked for and then the install button becomes available again but the program
has not been installed.

Here the debdiff includes -Wno-error=unused-result and drops
NO_PKG_MANGLE.

If I launch software-center from terminal with sudo software-center, I have the
