This bug disappeared for me in Ubuntu 10.04 by installing the
2.6.34-lucid kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v2.6.34-lucid/ . The bug reappeared when I updated to
subsequent kernels, though, such as 2.6.36 and 2.6.37. This is with an
ATI Mobility Radeon X2300.

Clint, I did not mean to imply a regression. I stated I have verified
on gnome that key storage and retrieval works and that it recovers from
a corrupted key as I intended. The bug was originally written against
behavior with kwallet but since I don't have kubuntu installed I cannot
test that

Every app has a working middle-click :) For example an app without the New
window quicklist is Minitube.
And yeah, I agree with the statement that middle click will create all kinds
problems if it's set to Close instead of Open new instance, so that's why I
should stay Invalid. We're basicly
powertop 1.97 reporting 4.17 watts and 100% usage on codec hwc0d0, on a
thinkpad t410, running ubuntu oneiric. Powertop 1.13 doesn't seem to
see it (though there's a large category for 'rescheduling wakeups', not
sure if htat's related)

the 37th boot (attaching) showed this error.

This was fixed with apt-get dist-upgrade -f. Possibly a corrupt
